Stephanie Brinley, Practice Manager

Stephanie has been a part of the Bannon Woods family for over 17 years. Stephanie earned her bachelor’s in Marketing and Accounting from Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. Stephanie has had horses most of her life and continues to be an active member of the Equine community. As a youth, she competed in contest western pleasure and hunter divisions at both the local and national level. Stephanie resides in Fairdale with her husband, Aaron, and daughter Kayelee. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys competing on her Western Pleasure horse Hercules and coaching her daughter in the ring. Stephanie also shares her home with “fur babies” Bella and Darren.

 

 

Christine Kuchenbrod, LVT, Employee Supervisor

Christina graduated from Morehead State University with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology in 2016. Christina has been a part of the Bannon Woods family since 2012 and joined the veterinary management team in 2023. Before Bannon Woods, she worked at the racetrack caring for horses, was a trail guide at a local riding stable, and worked at small animal practices during college. Her professional interests include anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, client communication, and education.

She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Morehead State University Vet Tech Program. She loves teaching our veterinary nurses the best methods for high quality care for our patients. Christina is excited to learn about new treatment modalities to continuously improve her quality of patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys music, singing, horseback riding, and crocheting. She loves spending time with her husband, Andrew, their daughter, and fur babies Monty, Max, and May.

 

 

Aimee Timmering


Aimee is from Bullitt County, Kentucky, where she currently resides with her husband, Catlin, and their two young children. She has three family dogs, Athena, Ralphie, and ClairBear, who inspired her love for veterinary medicine. Aimee is an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time with her family, whether it’s exploring nature, fishing, or having a fun day at the lake! Even in her free time, Aimee enjoys caring for orphaned kittens (who always seem to find her!). Aimee has always had a lifelong love of animals and looks forward to caring for your furbaby!

Deborah

deb Deb is a Louisville native with more than 6 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant. She has been an integral part of the Bannon Woods family since 2020. Her professional interests include anesthesia, surgery, and bonding with all the nervous or anxious pets.

She loves to hike, run, or do anything outdoors with her canine companion, Grayson. She has two cats – Shulk and Naofami. Deb also collects multiple types of exotic fish! Fun Fact – She and Julianna are sisters!

 

 

 

Dakota

Born in Valley Station, Dakota is very familiar with the Fairdale area, especially Bannon Woods. She has been a part of the Bannon Woods Family for 20 years! She participated in riding lessons and farm activities since she was 4 years old, and graduated to teaching riding lessons and summer camps on her own. Her equine background is in Hunter/Jumper, contest, and some Dressage. Our practice manager, Stephanie, was even her riding instructor when she first started! Dakota has been part of the Bannon Woods Veterinary family since 2021, and leads our Reception team. She excels at patient care and client communication and loves the bonds she has with all our clients and their fur babies. She loves spending time with her husband Brandon, their 3 kiddos, and 2 dogs.

 

Selina

Selina graduated from Pleasure Ridge Park High School and has been part of the Bannon Woods family for 16 years! She began riding and working at Bannon Woods Farm since she was 4 years old. Selina was very involved in the training and summer camp program at Bannon Woods Farm also. She has been part of the veterinary team since 2022, and excels as our equine nurse. Her professional interests include all things Equine, anesthesia, pharmaceutical and medications, and patient care. In her spare time, she loves to read and build projects with Legos. Selina also loves to spend time with her significant other, Jameson, and her 2 cats, Komi and Spoon.  Fun fact – Selina is Dakota’s niece!

 

 

Julianna

Julianna (J) graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College in 2020 with an Associate in Arts degree. She has 8 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and has been a part of the Bannon Woods team since 2022. Her favorite place to be is with our patients. She specializes in patient care and underwater treadmill therapy. Whether your pet is here for hospitalization, surgery, treadmill therapy or a routine appointment, Julianna will make sure all their needs are met. In her spare time, she loves to read, build 3D puzzles, and play volleyball. J enjoys spending time with her 3 cats and 2 dogs. Fun fact – She is also our dog groomer on weekends!

 

 

Jenna

Jenna is from Oldham County, KY and graduated from Oldham County High School. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She is currently applying and interviewing for acceptance into Veterinary School! Her professional interests include microbiology, neurobiology, and relationship-centered care and strengthening the human-animal bond. She plans to be a mixed-animal veterinarian upon graduation from veterinary school, and possibly practice with aquatic animals as well. Jenna joined the Bannon Woods Veterinary family in 2022. Outside of work she enjoys strength training, reading, and traveling. She loves to spend time with her boyfriend, Dawson, and her fur baby Oshie. Fun fact – Jenna has traveled as far as Aruba!

 

 

Taylor

Taylor is from Adrian, MI but now lives in Fairdale. She graduated from Fairdale High School and is currently enrolled at the University of Louisville to graduate in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. From there, she plans to attend Veterinary school! Taylor has been part of the Bannon Woods family since 2020, beginning at Bannon Woods Farm and joining the veterinary team in 2022. As a Veterinarian, she plans to specialize in equine and livestock patients, with passions for equine reproduction, emergency calls, surgeries, and patient care. In her spare time, she loves to ride her Quarter Horse, Stella, and cheer for the Michigan State University Spartans. Go Green!

 

 

Melissa

Melissa is from Washington State originally but moved from Connecticut to Kentucky in 2022. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program in route to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine, starting as a kennel assistant, wildlife rehabilitation assistant, and veterinary assistant at a small animal emergency hospital. Melissa joined the Bannon Woods Veterinary team in 2023, and excels in patient care and medical treatments. She loves caring for all fur babies while they are here! Outside of work she loves to hike, ride her mountain bike, make arts and crafts, and relax with her 3 dogs and cat. Fun fact – Melissa has lived in 5 different states since helping her brother raise his 3 kids.
