Stephanie Brinley, Practice Manager
Stephanie has been a part of the Bannon Woods family for over 17 years. Stephanie earned her bachelor’s in Marketing and Accounting from Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. Stephanie has had horses most of her life and continues to be an active member of the Equine community. As a youth, she competed in contest western pleasure and hunter divisions at both the local and national level. Stephanie resides in Fairdale with her husband, Aaron and daughter Kaylee. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys competing on her Western Pleasure horse Hercules and coaching her daughter in the ring. Stephanie also shares her home with “fur babies” Bella and Darren.
Christine Kuchenbrod, LVT, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Christina graduated from Morehead State University with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology. Christina has been a part of the Bannon Woods family since 2012. Before Bannon Woods, Christina worked at the racetrack caring for horses and was also a trail guide at a local stable. Professional interests include anesthesia and surgical assisting. Christina is excited to learn about new treatment modalities to continuously improve her quality of patient care.
In her spare time, she enjoys music, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their fur babies Max and May.
Candice was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and has been a veterinary nurse for over ten years, with a focus in surgical monitoring and critical care. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Communications at the University of Louisville, to grow her passion for animal education and veterinary advocacy. Candice has been with the Bannon Woods team since January of 2016 and also manages our social media accounts!
When she isn’t working, Candice is spending time with her Great Dane, Sparrow, and her two horses, Chaos and Saturnus. She also raises show-quality koi and tropical fish!
Gabby relocated to Louisville, Kentucky from O’Fallon, Missouri in 2013 to attend and play softball at Midway University. She graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s of Science in Equine Studies with a concentration in biology. During her career at Midway University, she worked at a small animal hospital before joining the Bannon Woods team in November of 2017.
When it comes to veterinary medicine, Gabby’s areas of passion include wellness, anesthesia, and assisting in surgical procedures. She loves the learning opportunities that come her way through her job! Gabrielle belongs to a whippet named Elliot and a former Arrow Fund rescue, previously known as Butler (who she fell in love with during his lengthy hospitalization through our hospital.) In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling with her girlfriend, Megan, and their dogs.
Destiny was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but grew up just south of Brandenburg, Kentucky. After graduating from high school, she decided to attend the University of Kentucky where she earned a bachelor’s of Equine Science and Management in 2017. With this achievement, she was ready to join a veterinary hospital to begin her career in the equine industry. She has always had a passion for working with horses and being around animals, so Bannon Woods was the perfect fit!
Outside of her professional life, Destiny enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. One of her favorite things to do is take her pampered feline, Paris, out for walks!
David Lowe, LVT
David is a graduate of Morehead State University with a bachelor’s in Veterinary Technology. David is passionate about exceptional patient care and is a Fear-Free Certified Technician. He is detail-oriented and has a particular interest in advanced diagnostic imaging. David has completed his PennHIP Orthopedic Specialty Test certification. David has two wonderful shelter rescue dogs at home, Oreo and Zoie. David is also a founder of the Eta Chi chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at Morehead State.
Aimee is from Bullitt County, Kentucky, where she currently resides with her husband, Catlin, and their two young children. She has three family dogs, Athena, Ralphie, and ClairBear, who inspired her love for veterinary medicine. Aimee is an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time with her family, whether it’s exploring nature, fishing, or having a fun day at the lake! Even in her free time, Aimee enjoys caring for orphaned kittens (who always seem to find her!). Aimee has always had a lifelong love of animals and looks forward to caring for your furbaby!
